Jana & Elio, 31st July 2010 in Slovakia + USA [real wedding]

I was happy to receive the wedding pictures from Jana, my friend from school, because I simply loved the way they organized their multi-cultural wedding. The real wedding took place in Slovakia but they celebrated their marriage with family and friends in Chicago too. Great idea – Lucky bride Jana could wear her beautiful wedding dress twice =) Look at the pictures and video of this stunning couple who is celebrating the 1st wedding anniversary TODAY!

Tell us about your ceremony:
The ceremony took place in the church where I used to go to since I was a little girl. Organ with two violins resonated in the church creating a magic atmosphere throughout. The Mass was conducted by the priest Martin Rožek, my former university classmate. He presided the mass in three languages (Slovak, English, and Italian) so all of our guests could enjoy the beautiful ceremony.

My favorite moment:
Cutting the cake followed by the first dance. We really enjoyed every moment of it as my husband is a great dancer.  (Jason Mraz – “Lucky”)

My advice for brides-to-be:
Don’t stress about little details on your wedding day. Everything will fall into place. Enjoy every moment and make sure to take pictures with your closest family and friends.
