Hope you didn’t forget all pictures and news of the ‘royal wedding fever’ of last month. Here’s a little revival of the Wedding of the year; I didn’t wake up to watch the Royal wedding at 4 a.m. because I attended another UNroyal wedding that day. But I watched all hottest news on different channels that morning.
Kate looked gorgeous, didn’t she? Just like a princess. She reminded me Grace Kelly when she showed up in her dress made by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. I loved her 1936 Cartier tiara lend to her by the Queen.
Sample Dresses below (starting at the top left) by Monique Lhuillier. This dress is actually her homage to Kate and called the Catherine from her 2012 Collection, below from Legends By Romona Keveza and the dress on the bottom right is by Priscilla of Boston (style 4615).
Her bouquet was simple but beautiful. It just underlined the beauty of the dress.
The flowers’ meanings in the bouquet:
- Lily-of-the-valley – Return of happiness
- Sweet William – Gallantry
- Hyacinth – Constancy of love
- Ivy: Fidelity; marriage; wedded love; friendship; affection
- Myrtle: the emblem of marriage; love.
I loved the hats. Yes some of there were funny. Perfect for a wedding guest (as seen at their wedding) or on the bride. Below are some perfect picks I’m loving: from BHLDN, Lo Boheme, Twigs & Honey, and the bottom row all from Kitty Andrews.
The last prove of the authenticity of the words ‘the prince and the princess happily after’ see this fun picture that run after the wedding. 🙂
